This device is a controller that manages smart LED lighting for stairs. When someone approaches the stairs, the controller turns on the lighting for each step, starting from the end of the stairs closest to the person. After a while, the controller turns off the lighting for each step as the person moves away.

Each step's lighting should use no more than 15W, and the total power for all stairs is recommended to be under 500W. The controller can handle up to 32 steps, and you can adjust the step count and the speed of the lighting through the device's settings.

The V2-STEP-1002 controller's settings can be adjusted using a single control button. A short press changes the speed of the light along the stairs through four levels: 100%, 75%, 50%, and 25%. The red indicator changes brightness to show the speed level. Holding the button for 5 seconds activates the step count setting mode, where one press adds a step with a blue indicator confirming the addition.

The controller receives signals from two motion sensors, placed at the top and bottom of the stairs, to know when someone is approaching. Based on which sensor is triggered, the lights will start from that end of the stairs. To simplify sensor installation, the kit includes two three-core, five-meter extension cables with connectors. When connecting the controller to the power source, it's important to observe polarity. The kit also includes two colored wires for this purpose: red for positive contacts and blue for negative contacts.

The controller is compatible with 12V and 24V LED strips, and the power supply must match the voltage of the connected LED strip. For connecting the controller to a 220V network, use a suitable power supply with greater power than the total LED strip connected to the controller.
