The data subject has the right to demand the deletion of personal data, restriction of the processing of personal data, object to the processing of personal data, demand the correction of personal data in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation.

Right to withdraw consent

The withdrawal of consent does not affect the processing of data carried out at the time when the consent of the Client was in force.
The withdrawal of consent cannot stop the processing of data carried out on other legal grounds.
Period of storage of personal data
SIA stores personal data in accordance with the established purposes for processing personal data and the requirements of regulatory enactments, as long as at least one of the following criteria exists:
as long as SIA can pursue its legitimate interests in accordance with the procedures established by external regulations;
while SIA has a legal obligation to keep data in accordance with regulations;
while the consent of the data subject to the relevant processing of personal data is valid, unless there is another legal basis for data processing.
As a general rule, SIA has the right to retain your personal data for 10 years after the termination of the business relationship, unless regulations specify a different retention period for your personal data. SIA complies with this general retention period for customer personal data in order to:
respond to questions or complaints or show that SIA has fulfilled its obligations to you in good faith;
conduct SIA internal research (for example, changing customer habits);
comply with the requirements of regulatory enactments providing for the storage of various types of documentary material.
After the retention period has expired, your personal data is securely destroyed.
What are the possible consequences if you choose not to provide your personal data (or other information) at the request of SIA?
SIA may need to obtain your personal data (or other information) to comply with a regulation, your requirements or in order for SIA to enter into or perform a contract with you.

SIA is not obliged to provide the client with copies of existing SIA documents, and SIA does not provide the client with information containing data of third parties.
SIA may provide a copy of your personal data in electronic format, which you can reuse, incl. transfer it to other organizations yourself or ask SIA to transfer it.
About the correction and/or deletion of your personal data
You have the opportunity to correct your personal data if it has changed or if you have reason to believe that your personal data processed by SIA is inaccurate;
You are responsible for ensuring that the personal data (or other information) you provide is correct and that you provide SIA with accurate and up-to-date information about yourself.
SIA does not have the right to correct customer personal data in its sole discretion, nor does SIA have the right to search for customer personal data in third party databases in order to keep its customer databases accurate and up to date.
You have the option to ask SIA to delete your personal data, and SIA will do so if that personal data is no longer needed by SIA in connection with the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed.
SIA will not be able to delete the client's personal data if the regulatory enactments provide for a mandatory legal obligation to store such personal data, or if the legitimate interests of SIA are more important than violation of the client's rights, without deleting personal data, limit the processing of their personal data.

If you have filed a complaint, the complaint will be reviewed by a board member of SIA. By the decision of the SIA Board, a permanent collegiate institution was established, which in its work is guided by the SIA regulatory documents, the current regulatory enactments of the Republic of Latvia, the valid binding legal acts of the European Union (regulations, directives, decisions, judicial practice), recommendations and recommendations of the Data State Inspectorate, European directives , recommendations and best practices of the Data Protection Board.
