The Ajax SpaceControl device is designed for remote arming and disarming the alarm system. There are four buttons on the device's body, each of which is designed to perform a specific action. When the desired button is pressed, the wireless alarm key fob sends a signal via radio to the security system control panel. Key fob buttons can perform the following functions: arming the room, disarming, panic button, service button — they can be programmed to perform automated actions and control a smart home. After receiving the signal, the security system's control panel processes it and turns the armed mode on or off. When the panic button on the wireless security key fob is pressed, the alarm control panel will switch to the "alarm" mode and immediately call for help. The radio communication system of the wireless key fob protects the device from forgery and encrypts the information that the key fob exchanges with the hub. This principle of operation provides security of the signalling from hacking attempts by intruders at a high level. Thanks to two-way communication with the hub control panel, the key fob confirms the delivery of the alarm command. The sensor's communication system allows it to operate uninterruptedly up to 1300 m in open areas from an alarm control panel or across multiple building floors. The Ajax SpaceControl wireless security key fob can work as part of a third-party security system through Ajax integration modules (uartBridge and ocBridge/ocBridge Plus). The body of the wireless alarm key fob is made in a durable plastic case in black or white. And the battery of the device is already pre-installed and works without replacement for up to five years, thanks to an energy-saving algorithm.
